Braxton Keith made his way to the Jersey Shore this summer for one of Jenks Club's Country Wednesdays. The Midland, Texas native turned the venue, which is normally associated with beachside parties into a true Honky Tonk. The singer is true, through and through country, with deep soulful vocals and a country twang thats impossible to miss. While Keith is still a rising star on the East coast, he had no problem having the entire audience locked in and proved that old school Texas country still has a fan base that is eager to listen.

Braxton played all his top hits including "Under Them Neons," "Lonley as the Lone Star," "I'm Not Him," and his most popular song "Cozy," which had the entire venue signing along. Included in his set were a number of country favorite covers like "You Look So Good in Love" by George Strait, "Slide Off Your Satin Sheets," by Johnny Paycheck, and "Driving My Life Away," by Eddie Rabbitt, which Keith joked he didn't write but should have.

Far from the typical pop-country usually found at the Jersey Shore, Braxton Keith offered the audience an as real as you can get Texas experience while being roughly 1,600 miles away. Almost as impressive as his talent was Keiths interactions with the fans, spending multiple songs signing passed up items and singing into phones that were shoved up to the the stage for the singer to record himself on. Braxton stayed around long after to take photos and sign autographs for nearly everyone who waited around after his performance.

For anyone familiar with Braxton Keith prior to this year, its clear he has long proved he's more than just another fleeting country star. With popularity growing, Keith is no doubtably going to be one of the next big artists. With real, raw talent he could easily cement himself as another great in time. At just 26 years old, theres no question you will be hearing the name Braxton Keith as a house hold name very soon.
