The Foundry at the Fillmore, Philly, PA: June 25, 2025

Hailing from Northeast Texas, Pecos and the Rooftops played their first ever Philly show this summer on June 25th at the Foundry at the Fillmore. Bringing thier country-rock surge to the East coast, they packed the night with high energy Texas grit. With a tight energentic set, the band had the crowd singing their hearts out along with them. Ending the night with their most popular hit "This Damn Song," you could feel the audience locked in, singing back as if they wrote it themselves. A song that clearly strikes a cord with the heartbroken in attendence. Coming to town in the mist of the heatwave, lead singer Pecos Hurly joked that it was hotter here than in Texas. While the band had an impressive turn out for being from half way across the country and playing on a wednesday night, Hurly said he hopes to be filling the downstairs room next time they come to Philly, referring to the main stage at the Fillmore. A goal that judinging by the crowds reaction, seems like they'll have no problem accomplishing.
